Seemingly chiefly designed for personal Bible study, but of solid value also to message-preparers. Frequent use is made of Matthew Henry. Every chapter has a fairly long concluding section headed 'For Meditation'. These are extremely good, lifting this most helpful commentary into an even higher league.
