Masters of the English Reformation

A grand book first issued 1954 and prized by so many pastors and others, focusing on Thomas Bilney, William Tyndale, Hugh Latimer, Nicholas Ridley and Thomas Cranmer. This is a noble book, elegant in style, powerful in its narratives, and moving in its impressions. The evangelical, scholarly author was once Archbishop of Sydney, and a theological college principal (his homecall being earlier this year). Very strongly recommended and a valuable gift book.
