A History of Outreach Sunday Schools
This brief study looks back over the abundant and godly tradition of outreach Sunday Schools. It reaches back into Israelite conventions and Old Testament commands and prototypes that embrace children, and traces Gospel outreach to the young right through the Reformation, the Great Awakening, the Victorian golden age of Sunday Schooling and up to the present day. It looks at when and why decline took place, and asks the question, "Should the contemporary abandonment of outreach Sunday Schools be reversed?"
