Wayward but Loved: A Commentary and Meditations on Hosea

A straightforward verse-by-verse treatment in condensed notes rather than wordy prose, offering good explanations and much application. Seemingly chiefly designed for personal Bible study, but of solid value also to message-preparers. Frequent use is made of Matthew Henry. Every chapter has a fairly long concluding section headed 'For Meditation'. These are extremely good, lifting this most helpful commentary into an even higher league.
