Archibald Alexander Hodge (1823-1886) held the chair of Systematic Theology at Princeton Seminary from 1877 until his death. His concern to express theological truth with real warmth led to persistent requests for a series of popular lectures. This volume is the result – 19 lectures given in Philadelphia shortly before his death.
