How God Changes People

We are all anxious that our children's knowledge of the Scriptures should lead them to a genuine, personal conversion to the Lord. This book begins and ends with a challenge to a child explaining briefly and clearly what is involved when God's Spirit works this 'turnaround' in any life, repentance of sin and faith in what the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross.
The author describes the conversions of twenty New Testament characters (plus the 3,000 at Pentecost), each with a page of text opposite an attractive illustration. The varied means used by the Spirit to bring each of these diverse characters to faith are used to challenge and encourage the young reader to seek God's gift of grace for themselves.
