Sunday school prize-giving suggestion for 9-12 year olds

A very charming story of the Dutch-culture type Christianity, ie: families living under the certainty that God is sovereign and rules, and therefore all will be well - and so it happens. But there are no conversions as such. It is a 'tearjerker', but maybe the young need some clean, sentimental, romantic stories of this kind to protect them from the rubbish of today.
