Nota de la editorial:
The author states in his introduction:
«For many years I have felt a deep conviction that practical holiness and absolute consecration of people to God do not receive sufficient attention from modern Christians in this country. Politics, controversy, partisanship, or worldliness have undermined the foundations of living piety in many of us. The issue of personal piety has been regrettably relegated to the background, and the vital standard has fallen deplorably low in many areas. Frequently, the immense importance of “[adorning] the doctrine of God our Savior” (Tit. 2:10) and making it beautiful through our habits is completely overlooked […]. Sound doctrine […] is useless if not accompanied by a holy life. It is worse than useless: it is pernicious […]. I have the clear conviction that we need a profound revival in terms of biblical holiness.»
