It would be hard to improve on this series for launching new believers into the habit of personal Bible study. Full of application, a spiritual tonic for older believers, and a great lesson in communication for message-preparers. Matthew and Mark lack the additional 'explanatory notes' found in Luke and John, and are generally shorter.
