Reviews mostly by Dr Peter Masters

Spurgeon called this 'by far the ablest English treatment on this subject', although he seems to have given Hugh Martin's much longer work equal commendation. This reviewer believes the accolade still stands, even though there are now several more fine volumes on Jonah. (That of scientist Henry Morris is especially good for devotions.) This is a modern typeset edition, of great value to message-preparers, and equally good for personal reading.
