This is a large and beautifully presented edition of Bunyan's great classic with a bright, inviting picture of the Pilgrim on its hardback cover. It uses the original vocabulary with only mild editing which is made appealing by the generous spacing, the updated punctuation and fascinating reproductions of 19th-century artwork throughout. It has obviously been produced with children and families in mind. The 'extra features' most helpfully include explanations of unusual phrases, a dictionary, summaries of the main events and characters and introductory pages by Catherine Mackenzie.
