This is a good book and a bad one. For Pastors who seek a clear analysis of the New Perspective view held by N T Wright it provides one of the clearest, and its refutation of that position is both efficient and readable. It also takes account of recent statements made by N T Wright. All this is extremely good, but the downside is that the repudiation of Wrightism is nowhere near firm enough, for it is a Galatians 1.8-9 level of heresy, and the writers ought to feel and reflect that. Sound, and recommended to the discerning for the reason given, though not sufficiently jealous for the Truth in tone.
