Sunday school prize-giving suggestion for teenagers

The story of the daughter of an imprisoned Russian pastor, the late Georgi Vins, begins from the age of three, in 1976. 'Our airplane was descending toward Yakustk airport. A stewardess announced, "The temperature in Yakustk is minus fifty degrees." Through the airplane window I could see the snow-covered airfield and a small airport terminal.'

This is a simply and movingly told story of a prisoner family in the hand of the Lord, up to the time of Georgi's sudden release in exchange for Russian spies in 1979. The persecution later ended with Glastnost, but a testimony like this will be much appreciated, especially by the young.
